Hi! I’m Chrissy Arsenault, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and competitive powerlifter passionate about empowering others to make simple, sustainable, and evidence-based changes to their lifestyles for better health and wellbeing.

MY JOURNEY

Throughout my adolescence, I believed that healthy eating meant extreme restrictions, including hours of doing crunches and cardio, reducing my calories, and following crazy fad diets. I was weighing myself daily. Then, I went off to college and gained 20 pounds. I was devastated! Clearly, this was taking a toll to my mental health and inspired me to embark on my own personal journey toward better health.

I decided to study nutrition while I was in college and worked as a personal trainer at the fitness center part-time. Throughout my own personal journey while working with clients, I quickly learned that small steps and moderation result in long-term success. Helping others be happier and healthier naturally became my “why”. It’s so rewarding to me to watch others thrive and grow.

Also, it’s important for me to mention that you don’t have to have it all figured out to start your journey of healthy, balanced eating and exercise. You are more than just the number on the scale. You don’t have to count your calories everyday. You don’t have to be perfect. You just need to start, and I’m here to help and support you on your journey.

I started my own blog to empower others to make simple, balanced, and sustainable changes to eating and fitness.

MY CREDENTIALS

As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, my goal is to help provide evidence-based information to help you thrive. Stop counting calories. Stop following diets. Let’s embark on this journey and grow together.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science & Dietetics from Cornell University
  • Dietetic Internship through University of Kentucky Hospital
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
  • Competitive powerlifter in USAPL, with state records
  • Over seven (7) years of extensive experience:
    • Coaching clients in individual and group settings
    • Appearance on media, TV, conferences, and presentations nationwide
    • Designing and leading wellness programs for companies
